Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Jesse Morse, MD and his professional practice (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information through this website (the “Site”). By using the Site or sending us information through it, you acknowledge this policy.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information collected through the Site and through Site-related communications, such as booking inquiries and emails sent from the Site. It is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Service, including their limitation of liability and dispute resolution provisions.

  • Patient health information. Health information that becomes part of your medical record is governed by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), other applicable law, and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to patients at intake and is available on request. Where that notice applies, it controls over this policy.
  • Peptavo. Peptavo, Dr. Morse's clinician certification program, operates its own website under its own privacy policy.
  • Third parties. This policy does not cover any third-party website, platform, or service, including LinkedIn, YouTube, X, conference organizers, or our service providers, each of which has its own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

Do not send medical information through the Site. The booking inquiry form and the email addresses on the Site are for general, scheduling, speaking, media, and consulting inquiries only. They are not a secure channel for medical information. Please do not include symptoms, diagnoses, medications, test results, insurance details, or other health information. If you send it anyway, we may delete it without review, we have no obligation to act on it, and sending it does not create a physician–patient relationship. To discuss your health, call the office at (305) 367-1176.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Booking, media, and consulting inquiries: your email address, the type of inquiry, the website of your event or organization, and the description you write.
  • Emails and phone calls: your name, contact details, and anything you choose to include in your message or tell us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the Site and our hosting provider automatically record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Site. For information about cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and requests.
  • To evaluate, arrange, and administer speaking engagements, media appearances, conferences, and consulting work.
  • To help you schedule a visit or reach the right member of our team.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, and security incidents.
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and protect the rights, property, and safety of our practice, our patients, and others.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, licensing, and professional obligations, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • To create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you, which we may use for any lawful purpose.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information as follows:

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site and our communications, such as hosting and email providers, who are permitted to use it only to provide services to us.
  • Event, media, and business partners, when you ask us to arrange an appearance or engagement and sharing your details is reasonably needed to coordinate it.
  • Professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants, and insurers, in the course of their services to us.
  • Legal, safety, and enforcement purposes, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required or permitted by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or is reasonably necessary to enforce our agreements, investigate potential violations, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our practice, our patients, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with any actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our practice or assets.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

Email and electronic communications

Standard email is not encrypted and may be intercepted or read by others. If you choose to email us, you accept that risk. We are not responsible for the security of information while it travels over the internet or while it is stored on your devices or with your email provider.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Medical records are retained as required by Florida law and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. However, no website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information. You send information to us at your own risk. If we learn of a security incident involving your personal information, we will notify you where and as required by applicable law.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you the right to request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. You may also ask us to stop sending you non-essential communications at any time.

To make a request, email drjessemorse@gmail.com or call (305) 367-1176. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond as required by the law that applies to you. We may decline or limit a request where the law allows, for example where we cannot verify your identity, where information must be kept to meet legal or record-keeping obligations, or where fulfilling it would affect the rights of others. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right that applicable law gives you. Requests concerning medical records are handled under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for these browser signals to opt you out of. The Site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals.

Children

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be 18 or older to submit information through the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the Site, tell us and we will delete it. Care for minor patients is arranged by a parent or legal guardian directly with our office.

Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy at any time by posting the revised version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after that means you acknowledge the updated policy.
